New Super Mario Bros. 2 review

New Super Mario Bros. Probably is the first game in Mario history where Bowser does not kidna Peach personaly.But of course she does get kidnapped. If she wouldn`t what would the Italian plumber do all day long. Plumb toilets with a very low salary???
Well this is the game that makes you rich.

There are special gold items that get you lots of coins. Take this gold block for example:
Mario jumps into this block and it stays on his head. What you want to do now, is to run as fast as you can and you will get lots of coins. But if you stand still you will get nothing.

There are lots more. Like the gold flower.
When Mario touches a gold flower it turns him to gold.
Like with the normal fire flower he can throw fireballs.
But the blocks or enemies they destroy will turn to coins.

Another very useful one is the gold ring. It will turn every enemy to gold.

Everything that will be turned to gold will of course give you more coins.

You should make good use out of these items in the special coin rush mode. One coin rush level is out of three random courses from the main story. You only have a short time to run it through though. You can choose to play as a normal Mario or to play as the invincible white racoon suit Mario.

You can exchange your records with your friends with Streetpass. As a little tip from me, you should run in the white racoon suit and try to land at the top of the flagpole. Because this will always double your coins.

Now you probably have been wondering who kidnaps Princess pPach. Well it is a lot of weird looking creatures that look like Bowser.

The main game is very short but it is hard to get all the coins.
There are also many new levels.

Nintendo even has a surprise for you for when you have collected one million coins ( It is harder than you think ). But I do not know what it is myself yet. But I will post what it is when I finally have all coins.

Miyamoto wants Star Fox on the Wii U

About year after Star Fox 64 was released for 3DS, Shigeru Miyamoto has admitted that he'd like Fox McCloud and crew to return on Wii U.

Shigeru Miyamoto the creator of the Star Fox crew sais he would personaly like to see another part of the famous Star Fox space shooting Game.He got his wish got fulfilled on 3DS so what is the likelihood of it coming to Wii U? Miyamoto said that Star Fox would be reborn if enough newcomers played Star Fox 64 3D.
Meanwhile, Nintendo's Yusuke Amano commented that Star Fox Wii U would need exciting new features if there will be another game.

What I think:Come on Mr.Miyamoto this game was sooo short. I would only get it if it would be a wayyyyy longer game. Why does he not want another Zelda game. He already got one game of his creation on the Wii U Super Mario Bros. U. 

Yesterday and Today 2

Welcome to the second episode of Nintendo`s Yesterday and Today.

Today in this episode I will show you card games and AR cards.

Now as an example you probably know the Kid Icarus series.
Well, they have special AR cards for the latest 3ds game.
But they never came out in the store. (Now they are)
If you are traveling and want to take the game with you, you might guess what I am getting to....
....you forget the playing cards!!!! And cannot do all that stuff with the AR camera.

 

Now here is a card game with no cards. Casino kid. This game you don't need to buy extra playing cards or things like that.

Pushmo review

Pushmo is a game you must get any chance you have!!!!! It is one of the best e-shop downloads of the year so far. If you like mindbreaking puzzles, pulling things and dislike little brats that annoy you this is the perfect game for you'!
The graphics are awesome in 3d and good in the normal setting. The fun to this game never ends. You can copy qr codes with the camera and get more Pullboxes. If you want to, you can even design your own Pullbox. A Pullbox is a course that is either a pixel picture or it is a designed lesson. So if you want you can play this game forever.
As in every Nintendo game, the beginning of the game starts with a tutorial of how to do all of the things you must do. Then you can do easy courses alone. The difficulty always slowly rises. You can be stuck on one Pullbox for quite a while. If you are having trouble on one level just comment below and I will help you. The music is annoying, because it plays the same melody over and over and over........and over again.
To download pushmo from the nintendo e-shop costs 6 euros.
Later on in the advanced lessons you can unlock a couple of gadgets that you can use to create your own Pullbox.
By now you may be thinking why would I want to climb a course by only pushing and pulling????
Well, there is a story. You play a little character and it has to save children that got stuck in a Pullbox, because a "little brat" ,as it is called in the game, pushes the button at all the Pullboxes to restart. So that is how the children get stuck. The owner of the Pullboxpark complains he is too old to save all of the children so you must save them.

Pushmo gets 91 out of 100 points

Bird Mania 3d review

Bird Mania 3d is a game that does not offer you much. There is a little story to it though. You play a bird named Mojo. It overslept and the other birds already took off to Afrika for the winter. So Mojo must rush to catch up with the other birds.
There are a lot of obstacles along the course. There are bushes, trees, other birds and bees. You are able to fly through tree trunks though.
What you will want to do is collect as many stars and pop as many balloons as possible before you hit a bird or a tree.
To defeat a bird or bee you need to boost. You can do that by pressing L or R. The main part of the fun though is playing it over and over again to beat your best record and go for the highest score you can.
There are also many achievements to unlock.
You can control Mojo with the stylus or circle pad.
Bird Mania 3d costs 2 Euros in the Nintendo e-shop.

Why Nintendo does`nt give the 3ds xl a second circle pad

Nintendo reveals why they did not add a second circle pad to the new 3ds xl.

Nintendo UK manager Ben Taylor has told us the reason of the lack of second circle pad:
"We did review the possibility of the second controller, but we felt that increased battery life was really important to players, and this would have been affected if we had introduced one. It would also have made the console a lot bigger and bulkier."

So in easier words, because the battery life would be too short and it would be too big and bulky.
But Nintendo is working on a circle pad pro for 3ds xl.
